May 20th, 2010NARM Convention + BMI Awards – May 17 & 18

Taylor Swift attended The 2010 National Association Of Recording Merchandisers Convention in Chicago, IL on Monday (May 17). The convention honored her with their “Artist Of The Year” award. You can watch her acceptance speech here.

One day after the NARM Convention, Taylor attended The 58th Annual Broadcast Music Incorporated Pop Music Awards at The Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills were she received two “Song Of The Year” awards for “Love Story” and “You Belong With Me”. May 12th, 2010Taylor Swift to received Hal David Starlight Award

Taylor Swift is set to be honored with Hal David Starlight Award on June 17 in New York. The award is given in order to honor songwriters who are making or made an impact in music industry, “Taylor Swift is one of the brightest musical talents to emerge in recent years, and represents the true epitome of the Starlight Award,” says Chairman/CEO Hal David, himself a legendary songwriter. “She possesses an undeniable talent as a songwriter, expressive singer and performer, and we are proud to present her with this well-deserved honor.” This is a huge honor for Taylor (since she writes all of her songs). Congratulations!

April 6th, 2010Taylor Swift nominated for 2010 Country Music Television Awards

Taylor Swift received 3 nominations for this years’ Country Music Television (CMT Music Awards). She didn’t, yet, made the final cut, as the 4 nominated in the final list is set to be announced on May 11th, but you can VOTE to make Taylor one of the final nominees, She’s a contender to:

The 2010 CMT Awards will be held on June 9th. Taylor Swift is nominated for 5 awards at The 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM’s) to be held on April 18 at The MGM Grand Hotel Arena in Las Vegas being broadcasted live at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on CBS.

Taylor Swift has received from 2007 through 2008 a total of 8 nominations winning 3 awards from the Academy: Best New Female Artist (2008), Album of The Year for “Fearless” (2009) and Crystal Milestone Award (2009) for her outstanding contributions to Country music as making the genre a mainstream music form for younger people.

Taylor attended The 2010 People’s Choice Awards yesterday in Los Angeles and from the 3 categories she was nominated to, Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Country Artist and Favorite Pop Artist, she left winning Favorite Female Artist. January 5th, 2010Taylor Swift to attend People Choice’s Awards tomorrow!

ABC News: The people who watch TV shows, buy movie tickets and follow their favorite artists online get to call the shots during the first show of Hollywood’s awards season: the People’s Choice Awards.

The awards will be presented Wednesday at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and will air live on CBS (9 p.m. EST). Topping the nominees are vampire tales “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” and HBO’s “True Blood.”

Fans cast more than 60 million votes to choose the winners in 30 categories including favorite action star, favorite on-screen team, favorite music collaboration and favorite animal show.

Host Queen Latifah is set to welcome celebrities including Taylor Swift, Sacha Baron Cohen, Sandra Bullock, Steve Carell, Carrie Underwood, Hugh Jackman and LL Cool J to the two-hour show.
