Taylor Swift #11 on Forbes 2012 Celebrity 100
Taking home $57 million in the period June 2011-May 2012, Taylor Swift lands on #11 on Forbes 2012 Celebrity 100 index. The list compiled annually uses more than just money. The Forbes Influential Celebrity 100 uses a formula which comprehends earnings, web, social media power, tv/radio exposure and press.
Among female singers, Taylor Swift appears after Britney Spears ($58 million) if only earnings were accounted.
See Forbes’ description for Taylor’s appearance at the list:
Swift benefitted from a huge tour this year, grossing over $1 million per night on more than 65 dates. She continues to cash in on her 2010 album Speak Now, which has now sold over 5 million copies worldwide; she picked up two Grammys for her song “Mean.” The young singer-songwriter also earns big as one of the faces of CoverGirl. Her fourth album is due this fall.
