Taylor Swift’s “Mine” leaks, gets early release, reaches #1 on iTunes |

Big Machine Records released Taylor Swift’s lead single from her third album, “Speak Now”, earlier to iTunes on Wednesday (August 4) after the song, “Mine”, got leaked onto the internet.
The song was scheduled to be released on August 16, but due to the leak they decided to release it earlier. Swift’s new single is already a record-breaker, as the song took only 5 hours to reach the top spot of US iTunes (The previous record, also Swift’s for “Today Was a Fairytale” with 14 hours, selling 350,000 copies on the first week and previously to that Britney Spears’ “3″ in 16 hours selling 254,000 copies on the first week).
“Mine” is also topping the Canadian iTunes.
